Guided tours for adults

Get a deeper insight into the world of railways with our interactive workshops and exciting guided tours for the whole family. A perfect day out for technology buffs, design lovers and young rail enthusiasts alike. In addition to our bookable tour programme, we also offer free tours every Sunday (no booking required).

What better way to learn about the exciting world of the railways than on a discovery tour through the DB Museum? Specially designed for children, the tours include plenty of games and a generous dose of fun.

Guided tours for school classes

Pupils find out what the tracks are made of, why steam trains puff smoke and how fast an ICE can travel. The tour is suitable for a wide range of ages. Group work takes place in our new museum education room. There the pupils can take a closer look at the main topics of the exhibition.

The DB Museum offers workshops based on the Bavarian curriculum for school classes from the fifth grade upwards. Group work takes place in our new museum education room, which is the perfect environment to study the workshop topics in depth without interruption.

Free guided tours

Every Sunday we offer free guided tours without registration. The meeting point is in the foyer on the ground floor, right next to the ticket office.
No registration is required.

If you are unable to attend, please inform us as soon as possible. The following cancellation charges apply:

• Cancellation 5 working days in advance: 30% of the tour price
• Cancellation 3 working days in advance: 60% of the tour price
• No cancellation: full price of the tour must be paid
