Rail trolley rides
Depending on the weather conditions, we offer rides on our hand-powered rail trolley in the outdoor area of the museum in combination with a guided tour or programme. We recommend you wear sturdy shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Trips on the rail trolley are only available in the summer months from 1 April to 31 October.
Multilingual tours
We offer group tours for adults in English and French.
Digital guided tours
With our new digital tour, you can bring the whole world of the railroad to your home. Take a live guided tour on a journey back to the time when the invention of the railroad fundamentally changed people's mobility. Discover the "Adler", the most famous and first steam locomotive in Germany, the world record locomotive S 2/6 and learn how a steam locomotive works with the help of a light installation.
