From April 12, 2025,
every Saturday 10 am to 4 pm

Special opening hours apply during events.
The DB Museum Halle will be back after the winter break on April 12, 2025.

Guided tours for groups are also possible outside opening hours by appointment.

Filming and photography for private use is permitted (no flash photography). Tripods may be used, provided you do not disturb or obstruct other visitors to the museum.

Professional and commercial photography and filming of any kind is only permitted by prior arrangement and with written approval. Please contact us in good time and note that additional charges may apply.

From the main train station in Halle (Saale), take streetcar line 12 in the direction of Trotha to the "Berliner Brücke" stop. From here, streetcar line 12 continues as streetcar line 5 in the direction of Ammendorf/ Bad Dürrenberg. Continue with tram line 5 to the stop "Steintorbrücke". Via platform 2 you will reach the entrance to the DB Museum Halle (Saale). This is the only public access - you will not reach the main entrance via Volkmannstraße. Deutsche Bahn travel information

On the freeway, follow the signs to the Halle/Peißen exit. Then drive in the direction of Halle-Zentrum via the B100 and follow the signs to Zur Straßenmeisterei, then straight ahead onto Paracelsusstraße. Then turn left onto Berliner Straße until you see the DB Museum Halle (Saale) on the right. Link to Google Maps

There are currently no barrier-free toilets in the DB Museum Koblenz.

*Reduced: with DB ticket (stamped ticket with the date of the visit to the DB Museum or valid network ticket on the day of the visit), groups of 10 or more (per person), BSW members, severely disabled persons, senior citizens, students, Märklin club members (upon presentation of ID).

Customers with BahnBonus status, Bahn Card 100 and Interrail Pass holders receive free admission. Bahn Card 25/50 holders receive reduced admission. Please note that no discount is granted with the Deutschlandticket.

Different admission prices may apply for special events.

Admission for children under 14 years of age only when accompanied by an adult.
