All aboard for a birthday party at the DB Museum!

Did you know that your children can celebrate their next birthday party at the DB Museum? Solving puzzles, fishing for sea cucumbers and battling dragons: these are just a few of the many activities on offer here. Go on an adventure hunt with Jim Button, or be there when the Adler steam engine learns to fly. The children all get a little surprise gift to remind them of their adventure.

Birthday parties are only available in German language.

Rail workers for a day

Fun and games teach children about the different jobs on the railways of yesteryear and today. From high-vis jackets to conductor's caps, we have everything they need to dress up for a job on the railway. We'll keep them entertained with exciting locomotive races and other challenges: balancing on board a swaying train and setting the right signals in the signal box.

This offer is only available in German.

Age 5th to 6th birthday
Participants max. 8 children and max. 2 accompanying persons

Join Jim Button on an adventure

Together with Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver, the children demonstrate their skill and strength in fishing for sea cucumbers or battling dragons. While they play, they also learn about the steam trains of yesteryear and about the jobs performed by train drivers and firemen.

This offer is only available in German.

Age 6th to 7th birthday
Participants max. 8 children and max. 2 accompanying persons

The Adler conquers the rails

Children go on an exciting and entertaining journey back in time and learn the story of how Germany's first railway was built between the towns of Nuremberg and Fürth in 1835. Will they get the steam engine to Nuremberg safe and sound? How should all of the locomotive's components be put together? And what else is needed before the train can set off on its journey?

This offer is only available in German.

Age 7th to 9th birthday
Participants max. 8 children and max. 2 accompanying persons

The Adler treasure hunt

The museum staff are at a loss. No-one can open the safe containing a very valuable model of the Adler steam engine. Why? Because nobody can remember the combination! They need all of your skill, creativity and support. The children search for clues and solve tasks to open the safe.

This offer is only available in German.

Age 8th to 10th birthday
Participants max. 8 children and max. 2 accompanying persons
