Family program with locomotive rides, model train presentations and locomotive simulator

St. Nicholas will be creating a festive atmosphere at the DB Museum Koblenz on December 7. He brings a little surprise for every child and is available for souvenir photos.


The cab rides on a historic locomotive are a highlight. You can experience at first hand what it's like to drive a real locomotive. Accompanied by experienced train drivers, there are exciting insights into the technology and everyday work in the driver's cab.


The train driver's perspective can also be experienced in the locomotive simulator. Young and old railroad fans have the opportunity to drive a train themselves and get to know the diverse tasks in the driver's cab.


Two miniature trains of the 5-inch ride-on trains are also waiting for young railroad fans in the spacious open area of the DB Museum Koblenz. In dry weather, they invite you to ride along.


Those who prefer to just watch can look forward to demonstrations of the LGB and Trix Express model railroad layouts. The passionate model railroaders will be happy to answer all your questions


The DB Museum's bistro team will take care of your physical well-being - with coffee, cake and hearty meals.
