The Deutsche Bahn Museum is the oldest railroad museum in the world and, with its extensive collections (archive/photo collection, library, object collection, vehicle collection), an exhibition area of around 7,000 square meters and over 200,000 visitors a year, is one of the most important railroad museums in Europe. Under the umbrella of the Deutsche Bahn Foundation, it keeps German railroad history of all eras alive.

At the earliest possible date we are looking for you as
Electrical Engineering Specialist at the DB Museum Nuremberg (f/m/d)

for the Deutsche Bahn Stiftung gGmbH at the Nuremberg site.

Your tasks

  • As a skilled worker, you will be involved in ensuring that museum and exhibition operations run smoothly
  • You will draw up circuit diagrams for new installations and electrical controls in the DB Museum rooms
  • Your tasks will include monitoring and ensuring the operational safety of all electrical and electronic equipment in the DB Museum
  • You will be involved in the maintenance and demonstration of the model railroad as well as the technical support of events

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed vocational training as an electrical systems fitter or have comparable qualifications
  • You are adept at working with modern communication control systems and electronic user interfaces
  • You have a high degree of independence, reliability, flexibility and responsibility
  • You are also characterized by your ability to work in a team, initiative, flexibility and commitment
  • You enjoy challenging and varied activities
