Archive and library tours


The DB Museum's archive comprises more than 2,500 meters of shelves with documents, operating books, construction plans, tickets, track plans, graphics, course books and posters. The DB Museum also maintains Germany's largest specialist library on railroad history. During a unique look behind the scenes, guests on the guided tours can be inspired by the charm of historical documents, photographs and book treasures. During the one-hour guided tours, they can immerse themselves in a unique storehouse of knowledge in Nuremberg.


Archive tours start: 11 am and 12.30 pm.
Library tours Start: 11 am and 12.30 pm.
Duration: 60 min. each



Antique book sale at the DB Museum
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.


The library is taking stock and getting rid of duplicates. On September 20 and 21, an antiquarian book sale will be held at the DB Museum Nuremberg as part of the Rail Day and City Tours events. There will be illustrated books, specialist literature and magazines on offer that will delight every railroad enthusiast.
