The Adler birthday party
at the DB Museum

On Saturday, December 7, 2024, the DB Museum Nuremberg once again invites you to the traditional "Eagle Birthday". A good 189 years earlier, on December 7, 1835, Germany's most famous locomotive, the "Adler", made its first journey from Nuremberg to Fürth, ushering in a new era. The invention of the railroad was far more than just a technical achievement. It revolutionized the mobility of the entire population and continues to shape our modern society to this day.

To commemorate this groundbreaking event, the DB Museum always celebrates a big party for the whole family on the weekend after December 7. Railroad fans of all ages can look forward to numerous surprises and an exciting entertainment program. And there's no charge, as admission is free for all museum guests on this special day.
