Please note that for admission an antigen test (not older than 24 hours) or a
a PCR test (not older than 48 hours) must be presented. Children up to 14 years of age and schoolchildren are exempt, as well as vaccinated or convalescent persons with appropriate proof.

Museum visit possible without appointment!

It is currently not necessary to make an appointment for your visit. Similarly, no proof of vaccination or convalescence is currently required for a regular visit to the museum.

It is mandatory though, to leave your contact details when you visit the museum.

For this purpose, you can conveniently scan the QR codes at the entrance and register yourself. For this purpose, the codes of the Corona Warn-App and the Luca-App are available. Of course, you can also leave your contact details at the cash desk and fill out the form manually.

Maskenpflicht

Ab 2. September 2021 gilt die medizinische Maske (OP-Maske) als neuer Maskenstandard. In allen Ausstellungsräumen ist das Tragen einer medizinischen Maske verpflichtend.

Children's exhibition KIBALA

If there is a high number of visitors on a particular day, you will receive a special ticket for KIBALA at the ticket office while stocks last. A one-hour time slot for your stay in the KIBALA is stored there. The KIBALA can then only be visited during this period. The bread room is currently closed. The consumption of food and drinks is prohibited.

Reopening
Koblenz and Halle (Saale)

The DB Museum's outdoor locations in Koblenz and Halle (Saale) will be open again from July 17, 2021, always on Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm.

Library and archive with appointments

The archive and library of the DB Museum are also open again for interested visitors. Timely reservations are required for the visit at sammlungen@deutschebahnstiftung.de.

Further information

You do not need a daily negative corona test to visit the museum.
Wearing an FFP2 mask is mandatory in all exhibition rooms.
