Jazz Matinee

Tori Freestone & Alcyona Mick

Two renowned representatives of the British jazz scene are guests at the DB Museum: saxophonist and flutist Tory Freestone, whose composition "Birds of Paradise" won the prestigious Ivor Novello Composer Award as Jazz Composition of the Year 2022, and pianist Alcyona Mick, who was shortlisted for the Parliamentary Jazz Instrumentalist Award of the Year 2023. Together they present their second joint album "Make One Little Room an Everywhere", which is characterized by the breathtaking improvisational art of the two musicians.
